Sleepy Time!
Right before school started, we spent a day in North Bend, school clothes shopping and spending a little time on some nice trails riding bikes. This was when we finished our ride. Little miss Aubrey couldn't run with the big dogs on this day, despite all her boastful mutterings throughout the day. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, we did avoid the local bear strolling up and down the trail.
Mommy and Aubrey
Finally, after a crazy summer, we were able to get away for the annual trip to Ocean Shores. The kids loved the bumper boats. Here you see Krista all smiles. What you don't see is 3 seconds after this photo was taken, Krista and Aubrey were blasted by a out of control 5 year old, bumper boat champion named Bryce.
Wow, has it been two months?
Sorry about the non activity. It was a crazy summer. This picture however, displays one of the more fun days that took place this summer. It was the first annual men's retreat to Lake Tanwax. Jake, Bryce, Ethan, and Jackson (from left to right) had a great sleepover after riding in the boat and even tubing. Good times were had by all.

The Menace
The first child
Cinderella?
This picture is from Auntie Lynn's wedding where Aubrey and Bryce were the flower girl and ring bearer. It was a great day. Princess Aubrey had some problems staying clean from the time pictures started to the time the wedding march began. She ended up with black grease stains all over her legs and dress from climbing on empty chair holders. Classic Aubrey.
Bryce's Blast
Bryce just completed his 2nd season with the J-birds tee ball team. He hits a little like Trammell, closed front foot, good hip rotation. Na would be proud.
Welcome to our first Blog
Besides taking a week long class about how to incorporate syntax, tone, and infinitive phrases into my teaching, my wife asked me to complete another project; creating a blog. I was a little concerned when I started this venture because Elliott wasn't here, but I think I figured it out. The basic premise of this well-constructed blog is for family and friends to view recent pictures of our children. I will try to keep the pictures of myself to a minimum, unless of course I am coincedentally in the shot somewhere. You will however see a recent picture of Copper, who just received the 3rd haircut of his 8 year life. The haircut was free (daddy did it), and it was mostly done in the dark, so you can only imagine. Enjoy...
